How I Work

A disciplined path from uncertainty to decision.

The process is designed to surface the issues that matter most before they become expensive, reputational or transaction-critical.

1. Define the decision Clarify what must be decided, by whom, and against which standard of confidence.
2. Diagnose the gapsIdentify missing evidence, unstructured risks, weak assumptions and unresolved dependencies.
3. Translate the riskConvert technical and commercial information into investor, lender and insurer language.
4. Prioritize actionSet out the practical sequence of evidence, contracts, protections and conversations required next.
Approach

Bankability is a system, not a label.

My work examines the interaction between evidence, contracts, counterparties, insurance, revenue certainty and capital structure.

DiagnoseIdentify the assumptions, gaps and dependencies most likely to block confidence.
TranslateConvert technical and commercial information into the language used by investors, lenders and insurers.
StructureDefine what must be evidenced, contracted, insured, guaranteed or reassigned before capital can proceed.

Why Independence Matters

Credibility depends on what you are not selling.

My role is not to promote a chemistry, manufacturer or transaction. It is to test whether the structure can withstand scrutiny.

No manufacturer affiliationAdvice is not tied to a technology sale or OEM agenda.
No investor placement mandateThe analysis is not shaped by a need to complete a transaction.
Evidence before narrativeClaims are separated from what is independently supported, contractually protected or insurable.
Frequently Asked Questions

Before we begin

What stage should a project or company be at?

Engagements can support early investor readiness, pre-diligence preparation, active project development or transaction-specific review. The scope depends on the decision that needs to be made.

Do you provide technical engineering certification?

No. I translate technical evidence into bankability and risk questions. Where specialist engineering, legal, insurance or market validation is required, that need is identified clearly.

Do you introduce investors?

Investor introductions are not the core service. The priority is to make the opportunity more credible, structured and ready for the right capital conversations.

Do you work on unpaid exploratory projects?

No. My work is focused on paid advisory engagements where an independent assessment can materially improve investment decisions, project bankability or technology positioning.

Is the work limited to VRFB?

No. VRFB and long-duration energy storage are central areas of focus, but the bankability framework also applies to other emerging energy and infrastructure technologies.
